Route operation
To ensure successful route operation in India, we have also directed toll operators to use hand-held devices for collecting user fee to reduce waiting time at plazas.
The employees are on duty as required and well-equipped with patrol vehicle fitted with GPS and are deployed at every 50 kms. They are well trained and in constant touch with the local police in compliance with the regulations mentioned by NHAI.
Patrolling on the highway
The fundamental duty of route operation is to keep the government roads under round the clock surveillance. This can include checking the speed of vehicles, accidents, emergencies and enforcement of laws. The patrolling teams are trained to legitimately deal with every situation.
